Last week I got to sit down with Chelsey Jantke from the new beauty and tanning salon in downtown Squamish, Naked Beauty.
Squamish locals Chelsey and her husband Michael, a talented craftsman have turned what was an empty and outdated space into a delightful, modern and welcoming place where you just want to hang out.
Over tea I asked Chelsey what her goals were with Naked Beauty and she shared with me her passion to make people feel great about themselves and enhance their natural ‘naked beauty’. She also wanted to be an example to her children that if you put your all into something and work hard you can achieve your dreams!
The process to open the salon was bumpy, lots of lessons were learnt but ultimately what they have created exceeds their expectations, and they are very proud to offer this amazing space and services to their clients.
The most popular service so far is the Versaspa spray tan and the lash extensions – you’d think summer was coming?!!!! They are also the only salon in the Sea to Sky Corridor to carry Eminence Organic Skin Care, which is a popular brand that uses only the finest natural, organic and Biodynamic® ingredients.
Chelsey & Michael currently employ 6 local staff with the hope to increase that as they expand their services.
