This year the radio station has a unique vehicle in our parade. Look for the bright yellow sports car!

 

 

 

 


The Canada Day parade isn’t just on the road this year. Keep your eyes on the skies as Blackcomb Helicopters treats us to a fly past at 500 feet!

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Squamish RCMP will once again attend the Canada Day parade, with officers in marching in their traditional serge. You will also be able to see the brand new RCMP canoe, along with patrol cars. The RCMP celebrate 150 years in 2023!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Squamish Fire Department are back in full force this year, with three fire trucks on display including the brand new 100 foot ladder truck! A large crew of fire fighters will also be walking the parade route.

 

 

 

 

 

 

A local group walking in the parade this year hopes to raise awareness for the Walk to End ALS. Stop by their booth downtown after the parade to find out how to sign up for the walk and support the ALS Society.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Squamish Rafting Company will showcase one of their rafts during this year’s parade. Voted Squamish’s #1 Raft Trip Outfitter in 2017 & 2018, they operate world class whitewater float and family adventures!

 

 

 

 

The Squamish Multifaith Association enters their Multifaith float again this year. With a message of community harmony, goodwill and peace among all people of faiths and beliefs.

 

 

 

 

The club will be out in force with kids on their bikes.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

These little ones will be walking and cycling the parade route.

 

 

 

Our veterans will once again march the parade route and lead our opening ceremony.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A staple each Canada Day, the pipe band will set the pace and start our parade.

 

 

 

This year local business Nurse Next Door will enter a float to celebrate our country’s birthday.

 

 

Dedicated community members, Squamish Rotary will again walk the parade route alongside their Canada Day float.

 

 

 

Look for the big trailer and lots of local workers representing CUPE this year at the parade.

 

 

 

A staple in our community, their antique mixer is a much loved icon of Squamish and will make an appearance in this year’s parade.

 

 

 

 


The Cadets will once again be marching in our parade celebrating Canada.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Squamish Women’s Roller Derby
The Squamish Women’s Roller Derby, home of the Sea to Sky Sirens join our parade once again, look out for these ladies on their skates!

 

4th Squamish Scouts

Adventure with the Squamish Scouts! They will be marching this year in the Canada Day Parade.
