Allowing our local businesses to interact, engage, and re-imagine spaces normally reserved for vehicle traffic and let our residents experience the neighbourhood from a different perspective. Streets as a public space that put people first hold huge possibilities where people of all ages, abilities, and economic backgrounds can come together.
Our focus is on Active Transportation. They’ll be a full bike valet set up at Pemberton and Cleveland Avenue. We encourage you to travel downtown by foot, bike, skateboard, or Scooter!
This is our first Open Street day in Downtown Squamish, organized by Downtown Squamish BIA and OurSquamish Placemaking Society, and made possible with support from the District of Squamish and Tourism Squamish.
