Craft Market & Artisan Vendors

Indiarts Collective sells direct trade, handmade, authentic and high-quality bags, jewellery and accessories made by independent artisans or small family businesses in South America; we focus in working with indigenous artisans and women. Some products are designed in Vancouver, but, handcrafted by our handpicked suppliers.

Our business mission is to empower South American artisans in disadvantaged areas. We are passionate about creating opportunities for artisans to use their skills to improve their communities, standard of living and future outcomes. Further, we wish to encourage and support the maintenance of artisans’ cultures and beliefs that is reflected on their artwork.

I’m Caroline Marisett, lover of all things crafty and the creator behind Fox Fibers. I’ve always enjoyed working with my hands. When I was a kid I started making bracelets and keychains then I got into sewing. Three years ago I picked up macrame and quickly got hooked.

I love learning new knots and being able to brainstorm ideas,  that combine different techniques. Macrame gives me the flexibility to set my own level of difficulty or ease for each project.  I can learn from my mistakes by turning them into something beautiful. Total creative freedom.

What started as a little hobby now gives me purpose and something to be proud of.   Sidenote: The rope is made is Canada and the drift wood collected when we go on hike around Squamish **

Imagine if I was king of the faeries.
Imagine if I was queen of the forest.
Imagine if we all held Mother Earth in our hearts always.
Imagine if our garbage was not garbage but fuel for creativity.
At Imagine Kids Clothing we do exactly that.  We make beautiful
children’s clothing and accessories from reused textiles as well as repairing children’s clothing for resale.
