The Foyer Gallery

The Foyer Gallery at the Squamish Public Library is a contemporary space dedicated to the exhibition of excellent artwork. The gallery supports large wall and cases of artwork. This Month at the gallery and until April 5 you will find Squamish Valley Quilters' Guild and Jeannine Bradshaw.

Walls: Squamish Valley Quilters’ Guild, "Stretching Tradition", quilts & wall hangings. The Quilters’ Guild was formed in 1996 when a few interested quilters came together to express this home traditional form of quilting. Traditionally quilting was made for necessity rather than pure decoration. Today it is clear in the work the beauty in each of the pieces.  
 
Cases:  Jeannine Bradshaw, "Quintessential Heart", jewellery & writing impressions. Bradshaw is inspired by various from music, books, fashion, and photography, nature, as well as interactions and relationships with people. Bradshaw showcases bracelets and pendants of semiprecious stones with sterling chains that represent her interpretation of the many links of human nature.
